Artist Statement

Travis Fullerton is a Richmond photographer whose work has been exhibited nationally and has received numerous awards. He received a BFA and MFA in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University. He was the 2010 recipient of the Theresa Pollak Prize for Excellence in the Arts for Photography. He served on the Board of 1708 Gallery for 5 years and served as Board President in 2008. Travis currently work as the Chief Collection Photographer at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and teaches photography at VCU, as well as at local art centers and John Tyler Community College.
