Nico Cathcart is a muralist and painter from Toronto currently living in RVA. She strives to discuss Intersectional Feminism and Conservation. The artist is in the process of going deaf, and includes birds in her work as a nod to her disability. A veteran mural painter- you can now find her work in many cities across the U.S. She has shown in museums and galleries across the US and Canada. Her work in Female empowerment has been recognized recently by the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, which honored her as one of Virginia's "Agents of Change" in 2020.
