Westkaemper has been an artspace member and exhibited in Virginia 27 years. Her work was selected for exhibitions at Peninsula Fine Arts Center, Muscarelle Museum, Charles Taylor Arts Center, Mary Washington College, FCCA, Montpelier Arts Center, Longwood Center for Visual Arts and 1708. Awards include Charles Taylor Arts Center Realist Painting Award, Juror’s Choice at Muscarelle’s American Drawing Biennial and Charles Taylor Arts Center’s Virginia Artists Exhibition. Westkaemper is in collections of Capital One, Virginia Resources Authority, Harrah,Tumblr, St. Christopher’s School and private collectors. Westkaemper is featured in Ashley Rooney's books, 100 Southern Artists and Artists’ Homes and Studios.
