Carol Meese holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology and has postgraduate training in fine art, creative writing, and art therapy. She has exhibited throughout the United States and abroad, and her work is held in private and corporate collections. She has won numerous awards for her mixed media work. Her current body of work is abstract.

"Return to Center" the name of this painting is after a beginning and ending posture in Tai Chi. She says, "Returning to center is always a good thing to do. Always."
