I love people watching. I am fascinated by people going about their everyday lives and the stories I can tell about them. I’ve wandered through towns and cities close to home and in foreign countries. The most important lesson I’ve learned from traveling is that people are people. We’re all the same no matter where we live. The people shown in this collection are from America, Italy, Cech Republic, Spain and France but what they are doing is universal.

My passion is to create photographic stories that impacts you, the viewer. They may make you feel happy or sad. They may astonish you. They may make you angry or at peace. They may create conflict or harmony. Different viewers will have different reactions to my photos and that’s ok. My goal is that you will feel something.

I am actively involved in the robust arts community around Richmond. I’m a juried member of ArtSpace Gallery and the Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association and am President of the Richmond Digital Photo Club. My photos have been published in The Street Photographer Notebook and Snapshot magazine and have been exhibited at Artspace (Richmond, VA) Anne’s Visual Arts Studio Gallery (Richmond, VA), Glave Kocen Gallery (Richmond, VA), Montpelier Center for Arts & Education (Richmond, VA), Columbus (GA) State University Rankin Arts Photography Center, 311 Gallery (Raleigh, NC), Lagrange Art Museum (Lagrange, GA), The Athenaeum Gallery (Alexandria, VA), Taubman Museum of Art (Roanoke, VA), New York Center for Photographic Arts (NYC) and others.
