SOUL of a KNIGHT is a Mixed Media Art Show by the KonKons, Konstantina and Ignat Konstantinov, Bulgarian-born American Artists.

This exhibit is dedicated to the memory of Konstantina Anna Maria Konstantinova for her passion to the beauty of life.

Through the last decade of her life she found her own unique way to visually express her hidden roar of what is to be a Woman in a "man's world." After an in-depth research into the ocean of female heroism in World History the artist selected the ones most appealing to her heart and mind, those not afraid to keep their ground and to sacrifice their life for something bigger than themselves and poses a soul of a knight. In four of the presented works Konstantina incorporated her own image. The mixed media technique here does not know any boundaries and often includes found objects or personal belongings. Anna-Maria left behind a consistent legacy not only as a co-founder of the KonKons partnership with her husband, but also as a dedicated art educator in St. Margaret's School in Tappahannock, VA. She believed that Art can change the world and love could survive any disaster.
