I am determined to create art in our challenging and changing world, creating images that reflect what I witness . Our Global Pandemic has not let me venture out and at this point my Art studio is my home. I feel safe in my environment that has a sense of order because our world is now unpredictable My home is a shield against COVID-19 that I hope to soon escape from. These paintings are of outside places that I have viewed, painted and hope to return to. My creations have a significant purpose and all tell their own happy stories. Now more than ever I am determined to create art in our hectic, unpredictable world. I want "normal" to return.

In my home - studio I am creating new pieces while countless art shows have been cancelled or postponed due to the threat of COVID-19. The "Outside Places I have Viewed" paintings are meant to bring the peace and tranquility that I want returned to our daily lives. None of us can live like this forever! The Art Newspaper states... "As the coronavirus forces us to endure an unprecedented time of distant social contact, art can remind us, assure us, of our interconnectedness." ( Michael Regnier, 2nd May 2020.) I am ready to reconnect!

We are all changed by the Global Pandemic. The future paintings that I create will be different because I want them to give promise and hope to our grieving country. I look forward to the pandemic's end.
