Artist Statement

"Dalhia is intrinsically motivated by an unrelenting need to express and create. Her paintings invite the observer to see the world through her eyes.

"Siblings" is the exploration of the evolution of family connections. Looking at the question –what binds us to our brothers and sisters?

Working with water-media she investigates motion, color, texture, and imagery. Exploring each medium's visual qualities, handling characteristics and how to use them together. The water-media includes watercolor, ink, gouache, pastel, charcoal, and pencil."
