Artist Statement

"My work is an intimate dialogue with the material, a exploration of color and matter where the painting imposes its own laws arriving at a purely non-objective discourse. My effort is precisely not to force anything and let the painting express itself in all its possible splendor. Painting is immediate, fast, direct, does not admit errors or rectifications, a fight where everything must converge, composition, rhythm, tension without hindering the flow of paint."
