Artspace Members Travel to Montpelier

Hanover, VA - The Montpelier Center for the Arts and Education welcomes the Artist Members of Artspace Gallery in their traveling exhibition, "Members Showcase." Artspace is a member-run contemporary art gallery located in Downtown Richmond on Historic Broad Street. Artspace's mission is to bring new and unfamiliar art to the Richmond community through monthly exhibitions and performances. In the "Members Showcase" exhibition, Artspace brings its own members' work outside of the City - drawing, mixed-media, painting and photography, will all be featured in this diverse group show.
The "Members Showcase" will continue at the Montpelier Center for Arts and Education through Wednesday, March 7, 2001. There will be a Reception on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 from 5 - 7pm and a Gallery Talk with the Artspace Director, Christina Newton, and Artspace Members at 6 pm.
"Members Showcase" was curated by artist, Dana Frostick, and features seventeen members of Artspace, including: Judith Anderson, John Bailey, Santa Sergio DeHaven, Etta Edwards, Elisabeth Flynn-Chapman, Dana Frostick, Marian Hollowell, Mitzi Humphrey, Catherine Johnson, Henrietta Near, Toni Obrion, Keith Ramsey, Nancy Rice, Susan Duer Sites, Irene Ward, Frances Wessells and Kathleen Westkaemper.
